Classes on Wednesdays 4

Several school-year courses meet on Wednesday afternoons. The Podgórze culture centre teaches chess at its Iskierka club on ul. Żywiecka in a beginners’ and an advanced group, from mid-September to late June, with sign-up opening in August. In Nowa Huta, Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893 runs consecutive groups at the school complex on os. Teatralne.

Outside the city, the culture and sports centre of Skawina keeps a Wednesday group in its chess timetable on ul. Witosa, and UKS Goniec Staniątki holds club classes on Wednesdays as part of its week. Each entry gives the hours and, where the page prints them, the ages and the fees.
