More about this list
A game in Kraków usually means a tournament, but several places keep a weekly table. The club room of Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893 on ul. Prądnicka hosts the Wednesday rapid series, TKKF Drogowiec holds a tournament every Tuesday in the senior club on ul. Sienkiewicza 2a, and IT Chess Club Kraków brings boards to Bikershot Pub on ul. Czarnowiejska on Thursday evenings, open to players of every level. Cafe Szafe on ul. Felicjanek has its own Tuesday rapid evenings.
Public buildings carry much of the tournament calendar. The AGH main library on al. Mickiewicza hosts an intergenerational tournament and league rounds, the Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury takes the junior leagues and championships, and the Gubałówka recreation centre in Skawina hosts the Crown of King Casimir tournament. Wieliczka, Zabierzów, Liszki and Staniątki complete the map.
