Clubs with groups for children 18

Most Kraków clubs are, in practice, schools of chess for the young. Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893 sorts its pupils into level groups at ul. Prądnicka and teaches in Nowa Huta and in partner primary schools such as SP 31, SP 36, SP 60 and SP 153, where the classes are for that school’s own pupils. Klub Szachowy Dwie Wieże in Bronowice offers a first class without commitment, and the sections of KS Cracovia 1906 and KS Korona 1919 recruit children and teenagers.

UKS Bakcyl Bielany and UKS Rajska Szkoła are school sports clubs, and MKS Centrum fields junior teams. Klub Szachowy Krak teaches online in groups by level; outside the city the culture and sports centre of Skawina and UKS Goniec Staniątki run groups through the school year, and MKS MOS Wieliczka holds seasonal blitz tournaments. The school teams of SP 48, SP 62 and SP 87 play in the leagues.
