More about this list
Wednesday in Kraków belongs to Szachowa Środa, the rapid series of Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893. It is played in the club room on ul. Prądnicka 43 from the late afternoon, and the club keeps a results archive of the series going back to 2009. Each Wednesday is a separate tournament with its own standings.
In Nowa Huta the same club teaches groups on Wednesday afternoons at the school complex on os. Teatralne. Outside the city, the culture and sports centre in Skawina holds a Wednesday group on ul. Witosa, and UKS Goniec Staniątki runs club classes on Wednesdays in the Niepołomice commune, both as part of their timetables for the school year.
