Tuesday is the busiest weekday of Kraków chess. At 17:00 TKKF Drogowiec starts its weekly tournament in the senior club on ul. Sienkiewicza 2a, part of a cycle with a long numbered history that carries the blitz name but is played at about ten minutes per player. At Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893 on ul. Prądnicka, a children’s beginner group meets in the afternoon and an advanced group in the evening.
Later the same evening Cafe Szafe on ul. Felicjanek starts its rapid tournament at 20:00, part of the numbered cycle Szachy na lekkim rauszu. Outside the city, the culture and sports centre of Skawina holds a Tuesday chess group on ul. Witosa, and UKS Goniec Staniątki has club classes on Tuesdays during the school year.
