Pubs and cafés with chess evenings 3

Bar chess in Kraków has a fixed weekday each. On Thursday evenings IT Chess Club Kraków meets at Bikershot Pub on ul. Czarnowiejska, and every few months the club turns the evening into a pub blitz tournament with free entry. Before moving there, the same Thursday evenings were held at Chicago Bar on ul. Sławkowska in the Old Town, where a listing said a few sets were kept on site.

Cafe Szafe, a club café on ul. Felicjanek, hosts the long-running cycle Szachy na lekkim rauszu: on Tuesday evenings at 20:00 it holds a six-round rapid tournament with a small entry fee and a sign-up. The atmosphere differs from the club rooms, but the games are played on the clock in both places.
